I do this blog as a way of supporting and promoting entrepreneurs and I know that my appreciation and respect for what they do comes from watching my dad do the same my whole life and having an understanding of the blood, sweat, tears and sacrifice that comes from doing it.
My dad immigrated to Canada from Italy with his family when he was ten years old, he started a pastry shop that’s been around for 40+ years and became a self-taught pastry chef whose gone on to compete in competitions around the world and serve the community. From him I’ve learned about having a strong work ethic, about being passionate about what you do and about being resilient and overcoming obstacles. His motto for me is Kick A#% !
